Playgroup

Playgroup operates on Fridays from 9am to 11:00am. It is available for children aged 18 months to 3 years.

Playgroup enables children, together with their parents or carers, to enjoy a nurturing environment as their first experience of structured contact with other children. It prepares the way for a smooth transition into our three-year-old kindergarten program.

Following best practices in early learning, toddlers are encouraged to play, learn, explore and discover using specially designed materials that develop fundamental skills in categorising, manipulating objects, exploring physical properties and more. Parents are encouraged to support their child to do it themself. Playgroup sessions include opportunities for indoor and outdoor play, a shared snack time and stories and songs at the end of the session.

Places are available for anyone in the community, with preference given to those families enrolling into the school or with siblings already enrolled.
